Pritzl’s Trading Post is an iconic Town of Rome business that provides locals and visitors essential products, along with high-quality customer service. Owner, Lori Pritzl-O’Keefe, purchased the business from her parents in 2002; however, she continues her parents’ business model of accommodating the community based on valued customers’ needs.

Stepping on the Wisconsin Trapshooting Association’s Shooting Complex, it is an amazing experience that is filled with excitement and thousands of people during the Annual Wisconsin State Shoot. With over 4,200 entries and 550,000 targets thrown in six days, the 2018 State Shoot was a huge success that brought people in from 24 states. I sat down with Fritz Thistle, President of the WTA Board, to learn more about the Complex’s history and unique story.

Our first Blog Post! Inspiration for this post came during my first week at the Rome Farmers Market with a booth situated across the sidewalk from Room To Roam. The enthusiasm that Kathy Halverson had at the dog park’s table as each of the patrons passed was infectious! Her joy and passion for the Dog Park along with numerous other dedicated Rome volunteers is the reason Room To Roam Dog Park has been such a success.
