On February 17th, we will host Wakley's Winter Feast, a fundraiser to support our mission of preservation and education. We have been having this event since 1989 and want to invite you to join us at the Nekoosa Senior Civic Center for an evening of fun and feasting! It all starts at 4:00 with snacks and our own homemade apple cider. Dinner is served at 5:00 where we will feature ham and chicken. However, we also offer wild game dishes like 'Racoon Ragu', Venison Bratwurst with homemade sauerkraut, a Beaver Stew with home-made biscuits as well as Trappers Pie and Baked Salmon. Bread Pudding and "Sawdust Cake" are the desert selections. All food is prepared on site, from scratch, by our volunteers. There are basket raffles and music following the dinner. We wrap up around 8 PM.
Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Because of space limitations, once the tickets are gone, they are gone. So make plans now to join us!
