Rome Garden Club: Preserving Harvested Foods

The Rome Garden Club meets at the Rome Library once a month on Wednesdays at 9am from April through October. Each month, a learning session will be shared followed by an hour of working in the library gardens to keep them beautiful. Please bring your gloves and tools if you can help. Some sessions require pre-registration. All are welcome to attend and sessions are free to the public.

August 2: 9:00-11:00: Preserving Harvested Foods. Becky Gutzman, a retired nutrition educator and food preservation specialist for
UW-Extension, will be discussing safe ways to preserve the foods you have harvested. Pre-registration is required.
