Join the Central Wisconsin Nature Foundation for the 4th Central Sands Water Walk. The mission of this event is to raise awareness of the importance of preserving our water quality and helping people recognize that water is life.
A sunrise ceremony will take place at 6:15am on the Lake Arrowhead County Beach (15th Avenue). The approximately six-mile walk begins at 8:00AM. Following, all are invited to a traditional Native American Celebration in the Rome Town Hall around 11:00AM. Other activities will include a dinner of traditional Native American cuisine, drumming, singing, and dancing.

Please register ahead of time, so that they can be sure everyone has a chance to participate and that there will be sufficient food for everyone. There is no charge to participate or attend, although donations are welcome.
